Yeah.
Title=self explanatory. Just finished reading it. Isn't it such a great book? -sigh- You know how books leave you with an impression, an emotion? Sometimes I find it's relief. Not from realising the book has finished, but because I delve so deeply into things that I rush through it, devouring every word but going past each one so fast that I don't realise I'm almost holding my breath. And then when I lift my head once more, when it's finally over, it's refreshing to look around and /breathe/.
Sometimes it's exhilaration. Like all the hope and laughter spills over and I run around and around squealing. And, at times, there's the whole, "Ooohhh yeah, they TOTALLY SHOULD GET TOGETHER!"
But this time, I didn't feel anything. It did remind me of standing on the sea shore, wanting to jump into the rolling waves.
But that was about it. Weird. Indescribable. Unchained Melody.

Hi everyone!
Basically this entry is mainly in reply to the comment Twirling Leaves made yesterday, asking me to tell her what "The 39 Steps" was. So, here is a description. It is a play, based on a book, played by four characters. It tells the story of one man, who, after meeting a mysterious woman one night at the theatre and taking her home, finds out in the morning that she has been stabbed-she actually killed herself-and is on the run from the police who thinks he killed her. While she was alive, she mentioned random and mysterious clues which the man had to unravel, which led him on a whole trail around the UK and eventually back to England. The main storyline itself is excellent, but is also played up tremendously by the actors. Like, one time, one of the men had to play a policeman and a hotel clerk. It's very hard to explain, but he wore two different coats at once, one on each sleeve. When he was the policeman, that particular coat faced the audience, and then he turned around so that his other side with the other coat was facing the audience, so it looked like he had had a change of costume. In that way, he had a conversation with himself. And it was HILARIOUS.
And, when I say that last Short Leave was the last one that I stayed with my guardian for, yes, I do mean that I will never stay at her house again, nor will I probably see it again for her husband has put it up for sale, for reasons I have not been informed of. I have a new guardian who lives in a terribly big house, near Oxford in Didcot Parkway. She is very nice, but she will never be Mrs. Mackenzie Ross. The last time that I will definitely see her is the end of term and then after that, I will only see her occasionally, perhaps when she visits Hong Kong. I will miss her.
Sob, sob. *Wild Flower*

Hello everybody!
I know I haven't replied for simply ages, and you can slap me..........if you want. Loads has been happening, but nothing of much importance. I had an AMAZING Long Leave, and one HELL of a Short Leave too. I'm kind of sad knowing that last Short Leave was the last short leave I'll ever have with my guardian, and so I've decided to get her a small present. I've already got her something small from the School Shop-one of those small animal booklets worth 50p. I'm getting her something in Windsor as well. It's wierd thinking about how I used to hate it at her place.
I have just had a major emotional tantrum, privately, of course. I am so frustrated and annoyed with bitchy and annoying people in.........Daws Hill. I have been bottling these feelings up for approximately two weeks. But I degress.
On Short Leave, the two major highlights were that I watched Casino Royale, even though I found it kind of embarrassing watching the sex scenes with my guardian. And then we went into London and watched a play called "The 39 Steps" and it was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! There were only four people in it, but it was so good. They kept switching costumes and hats to play all the characters. I know it sounds really demented but it is actually amazing. We were in a really small theatre and it was so cool because it was Victorian and built right next to the underground so we could hear the train. I also did all my Christmas Shopping.
So yeah, I kind of have to go now, but bye and have a great time, all you people our there!
Lol, *Wild Flower*
P.S. The title is meant to suggest that I haven't been posting as I've been kind of busy and "distant"..........................

Hello everyone!
AAAAAHHHHHHHH! It's been AGES since I updated, and I /was/ intending on forgetting about LJ altogether-yes, you can spank me- but my friend twirlingleaves who is next to me, cruelly forced me into continuing my entries.
Anyway, how was your Summer? And how was yours? I'm now in my senior house-Shelburne- and my first impression was that it was awfully cold. But then I got really sweaty from all the romping in the garden......XD. Sorry, I'm in a really dodgy mood. And a hungry mood. Like, for food, I mean.
I learnt yoga over the Summer. Yeah, I know that sounds weird. But it was actually really fun and now I can support myself on my hands, like a frog. Oy!, and twirlingleaves get off my hair! And I gained a lot of arm/hand power. Basically I'm now a lot more......um........flexible. Tee hee....hee hee hee.
twirlingleaves: You're so immature. xP
Meow. Rock proof sex kitten. Quote from "Gossip Girl", by the way. Oh yeah, by the way, did you know that my sister came back? Well, she did, and she and I had SO MUCH FUN!!!!! (Not meant in the dodgy way, just in case you were wondering)
I'm sorry, I'm not normally like this. I apologise to you and you. And that gentleman in the back row.
Pause. Sorry about the massive gap, it's just that I was thinking about how fascinating the space bar looks-no, don't look down at the space bar-when you hold it down and look at the screen. Go on, try it. In my opinion, it looks a bit like a man, person, whatever running at TOP SPEED. Tee hee.
La di da x 1,000,000
I'm very sorry. No, I really am-innocent blink. =)He has weird, lopsided eyes. Don't you think?
twirlingleaves: She's trying to do what no human can do. Lick her elbow. xD And she won't give up.
EXCUSE ME, BUT I almost DID IT. STUPID COMPUTER. THIS IS A VERY RANDOM ENTRY, YOU KNOW?

Hey everyone!
I'm finally twelve! Yesterday was my birthday! I had a great time. Basically, what I did was weave in and out of the crowds of Central, Hong Kong with my mum, and it was absolutely AMAZING. I had so much fun and did TONS of shopping. I bought four Archie Comics, the book "Permanent Rose" by Hilary McKay, Tommy Hilfiger pink lip gloss, a new swimming costume, a new bag and one of those long rods which have lengths of plastic cutouts dangling from them, for Wycombe. I got laisees as well- I'm not sure that's how you spell it, but oh well. Laisees=money!!XD Just kidding.
Cynthia made a Veronica icon for me and she also wrote a fic entitled "Spinning into Darkness". They were both extremely good. The fic was really angsty, but I loved it. Oh yeah, and Octavia "Tave" Sheepshanks gave me a card too, as well as shower gel in small plastic containers shaped like kangaroos, looking at each other. It smells so nice and it looks too pretty to use!-squeals- I had a "fantabulous" birthday!
Afterwards, I went for a pizza dinner.

Hey everyone!
I'm finally in Hong Kong and I'm so happy! Especially since tomorrow it's my birthday. I know, I have to wait another ten days until my sister arrives and I get to see her again, but never mind.
It's a whopping 33 degrees here. Talk about stifling heat.....
Hopefully I'll get to see my friends this summer. I wonder if they'll remember my birthday....

Oh shit...my journal's just been ruined due to the fact that when I clicked, "Post to journal", they replied, "Recover lost entry?", I clicked "Yes" and "Update journal" and now I have two of the same entries!!! Being rather unendowed in computer technology, I now don't know how to delete it.
Can anyone help me? I'm desperate.

Dear readers,
Not to cause any inconvenience, but it has come to my attention that I have made an error in one of my past entries, which I feel I need to change immediately. A few entries ago, I reported that Mr. Lait kept "Larking on" about our Pasta Bridge. This, in fact, should be "Harping on". My most humble apologies.
Yours sincerely, Wild Flower

Hey Everybody!!
School today-groans-. Just kidding. School isn't that bad actually, and after that there are only twelve days 'till the Summer Holidays!!! But time is going to drag for those eleven nights, now that I'm keeping track of them.
Anyway, I've been so busy these past few days. Yesterday I went to Hampton Court and I explored the maze for the very first time. It was so fun and enjoyable, but we took more time finding our way out than in!! And then we went into the actual gardens and the palace, which were really beautiful. The plan of the gardens are so meticulous, it's amazing. I also saw world-famous portraits of Henry VIII and Edward VI, separately and together-(don't interpret what I just wrote in the wrong way!)
After that I went to Uxbridge and spent the rest of my afternoon shopping for magazines, clothes and Cd's. I only bought a Ms Manicure 4-way nail buffer and the latest issue of Mizz (issue 550) but I liked just browsing. I also spent most of my time pondering whether or not I should cut out the Ms Sporty Lasting Colour Nail Polish voucher out of my July 2006 issue of Cosmo Girl, and decided against it.
Anyway, hope you all had a great Short Leave!!

I'm so proud!! In DT today, me and my partner won the prize for Best Design for our Pasta Bridge. I can't believe it ACTUALLY HELD 2KG!!!!! 4kg, actually, to be precise. And we got a commendation!! Also, in Mr Lait's own words, he kept "Larking on" about our bridge and I'm so happy.
Also, I got 92% in Religious Studies, 88% in English and 94% in History!!
Seriously, can anyone be happier?
Lol, *Wild Flower*
P.S. I can't believe they don't have an emoticon for "proud"...

Hey!!
I had a FANTASTIC Long Leave. I saw my mum and my sister and I went shopping practically every day. I went punting in Cambridge and I saw "Billy Elliot", the musical. It was a pity my mum couldnt' come;my sister did instead. It was AWESOME!! Oh, and I bought about a dozen Archie Comics:I'm so happy!!
Getting test results and more test results back today. Brainwash:these exams don't MATTER...
Bell just rang. Gotta-(got to?)-go now. Lol, *Wild Flower*

Never realised how precious time was-no,is-really. I had a Geography Exam this morning and there was hardly any time to finish it. I can't believe some people actually did. Anyway, if things weren't bad enough, I realised in Chapel that I had forgotten to bring my watch down. Luckily, after a somewhat stress-relieving yet boring Badminton games lesson, the Sports' Centre let me borrow one. Now perhaps I can time myself a little better. Haven't revised for anything. Typical me.
Oh well, can't wait for Long Leave because: i)I get to see my mum!!!! ii)I get to see my sister!!! iii)I get to go out everyday!!! iv)No school and relaxation for a whole week!!! v)I get to eat my Chocolate Teddy, which I bought specially as a small reward for myself for getting through the exams. (I know people eat like, five a day, but that doesnt' mean that I do. They're £1.50. I mean, jeez.)!!!
Oh no, haven't completed Pasta Bridge folder. Hmm.
